Spain: Land of Sangria, Sunshine and Shit…Literally!

I love Spain. I love her warm weather, crystal blue beaches, food, culture and her citizens, but the one thing that has been working my nerve every morning I walk to the gym or go for a stroll with the kids is dog poop on the sidewalks.

Poop is everywhere in Spain and I can't understand how dog owners allow their dogs to defecate smack dab in the middle of a pedestrian walkway and not even think for a second to pull out a bag and pick up their mess. They obviously don't give a sh*t (no pun intended), but they should! I don't see the point of owning a dog if you don't want to clean up after it.

All I want to do is walk on the sidewalk without having to dodge poop left right and centre. Is that so hard to ask? I'm tired of having to push my kids almost off the sidewalk and onto the road because they're about to step in some poop. Ain't no parent in their right mind wants to spend time cleaning crap off the bottom of their child's shoe. That's just disgusting!

How isn’t there a law on the streets of this beautiful country that stops people from letting their dogs defecate everywhere and anywhere. Makes no sense to me, but I’ll tell you this…I’m sick of this shit (again, no pun intended 😂)!
