Me In A Nutshell

Hiya! I'm Sami'Jo, a mother of four wonderful kids. One of my children is autistic with ADHD, and another is currently awaiting an autism assessment.

I have a deep love for traveling, music, food and seeing what the world has to offer, both near and far. Although I discovered these passions later in life, becoming a mother has not stopped me. Instead, I'm learning to enjoy the loves of my life with the loves of my life.

I want to take my babies on adventures that expose them to culture, music, people, and most importantly, inclusiveness. Finding events and activities for my autistic son can be challenging, so I am also on a quest to discover the best cities, towns, activities, events and establishments that ensure accessibility and create welcoming environments for everyone.

As a mom who wears many hats, I often wonder if other parents face the same challenges I do, especially those raising special needs children. I have a lot to share, which inspired me to start my podcast, "Memoirs of a Badass Mama." Tune in to enjoy my authentic and sometimes hilarious musings and stories about parenting, traveling, and simply... life!
